8th Annual Syd White Memorial Endurance Race

Syd White, who passed away in 2011, was greatly involved with the development of the technical rules for the Briggs & Stratton range of 206cc racing engines. From 2012-2018, the Syd White Memorial Enduro ran as an annual fixture at the Marina Airport track on the Monterey Peninsula, and was a fitting tribute to a gentleman who was unquestionably devoted to the sport and helped so many young people embark on their own unique journey in Motorsport.

Formula KFX is proud to bring the Syd White Memorial Endurance Race back to Northern California and is excited to unveil the 8th annual running of the event, which will be held at the Sonoma Raceway Karting Center on January 31, 2026.

Format

4 x 15-Minute Practice Sessions
60-Minute Qualifying Session
3-hour Endurance Race*

*Mandatory Pit Stops & Refueling

One set of MG RL1 Tires will be provided to each team at sign-in and must be used in both Qualifying and the Race. Teams may run tires of their own choice during the four 15-minute practice sessions.

The Syd White Memorial Endurance Race is operated by the professional crew at Formula KFX, who bring years of international racing experience to ensure a safe, fair and exciting event.
